Private Sessions

One on One Yoga, Meditation and Movement Therapy:

Sofiah offers private yoga for total beginners,  for people wanting to deepen their yoga practice, and for those healing from any injuries or mental health issues.  Sofiah uses hands on, mat work and the YogaPlay Swing – an inversion swing, creating a unique session for each client.
Depending on the clients desire, Sofiah will create a session with a specific focus. ie: meditation, stress relief, body posture alignment, breathing, stretching, strengthening, flexibility and more.

$50 per hour, reduced rates for ongoing sessions. These sessions can produce many benefits: • Supports healing of injuries or health concerns • Cultivation of better balance, core strength and flexibility • Greater connection between breath and movement • Provides cross training for surfers and other athletes. • Increases body-mind awareness • Relieves stress by calming the nervous system • Increases blood circulation • Ignites a deeper connection to the present moment and living with intention

Graceful Warrior Sessions - a creative arts one on one sesssion

Sofiah
designs each session to meet your individual needs in the moment. Using tools gathered from 12 years of experience in many body-centered modalities and movement trainings. Drawing upon bodywork, expressive healing arts, body mind awareness, and guided movement and yoga to help integrate Body Mind and Spirit. Sofiah believes we all possess an innate wisdom within ourselves, by quieting the chatter and slowing down we can begin to truly listen to ourselves and our inner guidance. Learning to differentiate when we are guided and when we are reliving an old pattern or way of being. "Learn to see your life as a way of choosing all that supports you in the bigger picture of your life. Know your purpose and let that be what you create with the power of intention. Do your actions support your highest self?  I guide you inside your body with your breath and awareness of sensations, bringing you into contact with your own inner wisdom and knowing.  Experience and shift your attention from the external to the internal, letting go of who you think you should be and allowing your authentic self to shine through.  Access the resources that live in your body and learn to move forward with integrity and empowerment.  What do you want to create?

Life Coaching via telephone/ skype with Sofiah "I believe we all possess the wisdom to know how to create the life that we truly want to live! Sometimes we just need a little guidance to help us from feeling stuck or confused. Sometimes we need an outside guide to help us in remembering who we are and what makes us shine. In these sessions I guide my you back into connection with their values and life’s purpose. Offering exercises and suggestions to help ignite and discover their life passions, creating a plan to live out their lives in a more fulfilling way. I work with people who are ready to make changes in their lives. I especially love to work with people going through transitions, guiding them back into connection with their authenticity and what truly brings them joy. What do you want to create?
